On September 12th, the Board of Trustees awarded a design contract for the Moffat Street Extension and Bridge over Coal Creek. This project will provide connectivity for both pedestrians and vehicles between the Historic Downtown district of Erie and Colliers Hill (2800 homes). This new street connection is identified as the East Gateway in The Downtown Redevelopment Framework Plan.
On December 6th, the Town held a public meeting and presented the 1st renderings of the Moffat St. Bridge and the latest design for Coal Creek Park.
On January 23rd, the Parks and Rec. Dept. received approval from the Board of Trustees to proceed with working drawings for the Preferred Coal Creek Park Concept.
